NiShield NSP-1023

Column:Nickel Protective Agent

Introduction

NiShield NSP-1023 is a water-soluble polymer protective agent that provides excellent protection for nickel, gold, and tin. After coating with NiShield NSP-1023, a non-stick transparent film is formed, which greatly improves the weldability, 5% NSS test performance, and wear resistance.

Process Characteristics

1. The process operation is simple, and the workpiece can be immersed in the working fluid for electrolysis, which forms an effective protective film through chemical reactions.

2. The protective agent has no negative impact on contact resistance.

3. The protective agent improves weldability, wear resistance, and NSS test performance.

4. The product has a long usage time and very low operating costs.

5. NiShield NSP-1023 has better corrosion resistance and wear resistance compared to other products on the market.

Composition of Plating Solution

NiShield NSP-1023 is easy to operate and can be used by dissolving it in water. Please note that the original solution of NiShield NSP-1023 should be heated to 50-60℃, melted, and shaken well.

Technological Process

1. Nickel/gold plating

2. Water washing (three times)

3. Immersion of protective agent (electrolysis)

4. Hot water washing (50℃)

5. Water washing (two times)

6. Blow drying

7. Drying (90-100℃)

8. Inspection

9. Storage

Solution Supplement

If usage of the working fluid is stopped for a period of time, trace amounts of oily substances may be produced on the surface of the solution. It can be used again after stirring. The working fluid is often supplemented with pure water to compensate for water evaporation losses. To achieve the desired protective effect, please maintain NiShield NSP-1023 at 100% working concentration.

Solution Configuration

1. Clean the container

2. Add 75% volume of deionized water and control the temperature at 55±5℃

3. Melt NiShield NSP-1023 in a hot water bath before use

4. Add NiShield NSP-1023; then stir it into a lotion

5. Add water to the desired level; then stir the working solution for at least 5 minutes

6. Adjust the working temperature to 55±5℃ ;
