1. Product Description
AuruMEX PG-402 is a solderable gold plating process. Its gold deposit is soft,lemon-yellow in color, with a purity as high as 99.99%. It offers excellent solderability and acid corrosion resistance, making it a gold plating process specifically developed for the semiconductor industry.

3. Bath Preparation Method
1.Thoroughly clean the plating tank, then add 1/4 of the required volume of distilled water or deionized water.
2.Heat to 65°C. While stirring, add the starter PG-402B. Starter B is 3 L per unit and can prepare 5 L of solution (does not contain gold).
3.Under vigorous agitation, slowly add the concentrated potassium gold cyanide solution (pre-dissolved in hot purified water) with a gold content of 100g/L. The gold content in potassium gold cyanide should not be less than 68.1%.
4.Adjust to the required volume using purified water.
5.Check and adjust the pH and temperature of the solution.
4. Bath Maintenance
1.Regularly replenish the concentrated potassium gold cyanide solution (gold content approximately 100 g/L) to maintain the bath gold content at 8-12 g/L. For each 1 g of gold added, 1.47 g of potassium gold cyanide and 1 mL of replenisher PG-402 R should be introduced.
2.Replenisher PG-402 R is a liquid, supplied at 1O0 mL per unit, containing components sufficient for 100 g of gold.
3.The gold deposition rate is 120g per l0o0 A.min. Replenishment should be performed regularly based on analytical data and accumulated ampere-minute readings.
4.Pay attention to adjusting the bath pH. To increase pH, use analytical grade potassium hydroxide; to lower pH, use analytical grade phosphoric acid.
5.Adjust the specific gravity of the solution using conductive salts.
