Introduction
AuroShield GS-4530 is a high temperature resistant sealing agent for plated hard gold and silver/hard silver. GS-4530 is a non-irritating solvent base product with excellent lubricity. It increases protective performance, reduces the friction coefficient, and improves the protective performance of non-ferrous metals such as gold, silver, copper, nickel. GS-4530 offers excellent corrosion resistance (anti-oxidation, salt spray resistance, sulfuration resistance) and outstanding plugging ability for connectors. It does not affect electrical contact resistance and solderability.
AuroShield GS-4530 features exceptional high temperature resistance and excellent radiation resistance, capable of withstanding 275oC for over one hour. The protective film can last more than 10 years at room temperature.
AuroShield GS-4530 improves the insertion/extraction pluggability performance of connectors dramatically, reaching 500,000 times pluggability after the gold-plated spring probes are coated with AuroShield GS-4530.
AuroShield GS-4530 is also used for electronic and electrical assembly products. It protects connectors from corrosion in working environments with long-term pluggability. In summary, AuroShield GS-4530 greatly improves the use life of connectors.
The high-temperature resistant metal protectant AuroShield GS-4530 does not contain any fluorinated compounds and can be applied to metal surfaces of gold, silver, tin, nickel, and copper.

Storage Conditions and Validity Period
Materials need to be sealed and stored at a temperature of 5℃-40℃. The storage environment must be cool, dry, clean, and properly ventilated. Materials should not come into contact with acids, alkalis, oils, or organic solvents. Materials should avoid exposure to rain, sunlight, arc light, ultraviolet rays, or heat/fire sources (at least 1m distance).
Validity period: 2 years from date of production
Usage Instructions
1. This product is a ready-for-use working solution that has been strictly formulated. Do not add other solvents or water to the product. The temperature should be operated at 20-40℃.
2. Before using AuroShield GS-4530, moisture, dust, oil, and other corrosive substances should be removed from the surface of the parts to avoid foreign matter contamination, which would adversely affect the protection effect.
3. The operation should be conducted in a well-ventilated environment.
4. Depending on the shape, size, and complexity of the parts, three application methods can be selected from:
• Immersion coating
• Brush coating
• Spray coating
5. Put the clean and dry parts into AuroShield GS-4530 with an operating temperature of 20-40℃, and dip them in for 2-3 minutes. During the immersion process of the parts, shake them evenly 2-3 times. Dip the parts into AuroShield GS-4530 wrapped in a clean nylon cloth and shake with a shaker.
6. After immersion, leave the parts in the container for 5-20 seconds, and shake at intervals to reduce the carry-out of AuroShield GS-4530.
7. Place the dipped parts in an oven to dry at a temperature of 100±10℃ for 10-30min depending on the different parts. If it is applied in a reel-to-reel line, immerse the parts in AuroShield GS-4530 for a few seconds, then dry the parts with hot air.
8. AuroShield GS-4530 is a colorless and transparent liquid, which should be covered and sealed in time after dipping; the liquid surface should be supplemented with the original solution of the oily protective agent. If the solution is precipitated or black, it can be filtered with filter paper before reuse.
Brushing: Dip an appropriate amount of the protective agent with a soft pen or a brush and apply 2-3 times evenly on the parts to be coated. The other steps are the same as above.
