Introduction
SterlingShield S is formulated specifically for large size silver plated parts that cannot be processed in water base anti-tarnish solution such as SterlingShield WS and SterlingShield AGS. SterlingShield S is also designed for silver plated parts that are used in highly sulfur polluted environments.
SterlingShield S can significantly enhance the protection; the extremely thin film virtually does not have any negative impact on solderability or surface conductivity.
SterlingShield S is also used on tin busbars in order to provide an excellent anti-fingerprint property, especially during high temperature seasons and areas with high humidity.
SterlingShield S is also widely used in reel-to-reel production lines for extra protection.
SterlingShield S has been widely applied on gold plated parts, nickel plated parts, and copper/copper alloy surfaces. End users of SterlingShield S can attest that the product protects almost any metal surface from being tarnished or oxidized for a long period of time.
